AdTally Privacy Policy

AdTally is an iPhone app that displays your own Google AdSense earnings and account information. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and where it lives. The short version: everything stays on your device, and we collect nothing.

Data AdTally accesses

When you sign in with your Google account, AdTally requests the read-only AdSense scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adsense.readonly). Using that permission, the app retrieves from the Google AdSense Management API:

Earnings, page view, and click reports for your AdSense account;
Your unpaid balance and payment history;
Your list of sites and their approval states;
Account alerts and Policy Center issues.

AdTally cannot modify anything on your AdSense or Google account — the read-only scope does not permit it.

How that data is used

Solely to display your earnings information to you, inside the app and its widgets, and to generate optional on-device notifications (for example a daily summary or a payment alert). There is no other use.

Where your data lives

Your Google sign-in tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device.
A cached copy of your latest figures is stored on your device so the app and widgets load instantly.
AdTally operates no servers. Your data travels directly between Google and your device. We do not receive, collect, store, or process any of your data, and the app contains no analytics or tracking of any kind.

Sharing

Nothing is shared with anyone — no third parties, no advertising partners, no AI services. We never see your data, so we could not share it if we wanted to.

AdTally's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data / revoking access

Sign out inside the app: this deletes the stored tokens and the cached figures from your device.
Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
You can additionally revoke AdTally's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
There is nothing to delete on our side — no server-side copy of your data exists.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change (for example, if an optional feature required a server), this policy will be updated here before that change ships, with the effective date above revised.
